CENTRAL PACIFIC BANK’S #KEEPHAWAIICOOKING HUNGRY TO HELP

1) ELIGIBILITY: Central Pacific Bank’s #KeepHawaiiCooking HUNGRY TO HELP (“Contest”) is open to legal U.S. residents of the State of Hawaii, eighteen (18) years of age or older. This Contest is void where prohibited and is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Employees of Central Pacific Bank, its parent company, affiliates and subsidiaries, along with members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to win in this Contest.

2) SPONSOR: The Sponsor of this Contest (“Sponsor”) is Central Pacific Bank, 220 South King Street, Honolulu, HI 96813, member FDIC.

3) HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE OR TRANSACTION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE OR TRANSACTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. The Contest begins at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 12 and ends at 11:59PM on Friday, September 11 (the “Contest Period”). To enter the Contest during the Contest Period: Participants must go to @KeepHawaiiCooking on Instagram, find the contest post for the current week, and submit a comment to the corresponding post with three (3) Instagram usernames of your family and/or friends. Only comment submissions submitted during the active week will be eligible for that week’s winner selection. Each campaign week will start on Friday at 5:00PM and end the following Wednesday at 11:59PM.

Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any entry it deems incomplete, incoherent, illegible, inappropriate or abusive. Sponsor is not responsible for entries which are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed, misdirected, or cannot be completed due to electronic or technical difficulties, regardless of cause.

4) WINNER SELECTION: Two (2) Winning comments will be selected per week from that week’s pool of entries submitted between Friday at 5:00PM and the following Wednesday at 11:59PM. Finalists will be selected and notified via direct message (DM) from @KeepHawaiiCooking’s Instagram channel every Thursday, and be given instructions on how to verify qualification. Once notified, Finalists must provide their first and last name, mailing address, and any other pertinent information. The Finalists must fill out and submit the form within five (5) business days of Sponsor sending notification to be considered. Winner selection is determined at the Sponsor’s discretion by a panel of judges.

5) PRIZE: The Winners will each receive a $50 gift certificate from a participating restaurant. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions are allowed except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value.

6) WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winning Participants will be notified either via email or telephone depending on the contact information they provided on the online form. Winning Participants will be notified via DM. All Winners will be notified up to five (5) business days following completion and submission of the Winning Participant’s qualification form. Winning Participants have up to five (5) business days to claim their gift certificate prize. Winner may be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release, and IRS Form W-9, all of which must be returned within 5 days from date of issuance thereof or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If a winner is not reachable via Instagram direct message, telephone number, mailing address or e-mail address provided and a forwarding mailing address or e-mail address is not made available or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, then the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. Determinations made by Sponsor are final on all matters relating to the Contest.

7) TERMS & GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor. Entrants agree that this Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii without regard to its principles of conflicts of law. Jurisdiction for any legal proceedings related to the Contest shall take place solely in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a condition of entering the Contest, participant agrees that: a) under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and c) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest if it is not capable of running as planned and award prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest, in its entirety or in part, should tampering, unauthorized intervention, counterfeiting, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules or any laws, or to be attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception, misappropriation, infringement, multiple social media accounts, or any other unfair playing practices, poor sportsmanship, or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other participants or Sponsor’s representatives. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or modify these Official Rules at any time, without cause or prior notice, and to interpret these Official Rules and make decisions regarding the interpretation of these Official Rules at any time in its sole and absolute discretion.

8) RIGHTS GRANTED BY CONTEST PARTICIPANTS: By entering the Contest, Participants, Winners, and Winners’ work teams grant the Sponsor and each of its affiliates the right to use their name, work place and/or likeness for publicity and promotional purposes relating to the Contest without further compensation, notice or consent, in any and all forms of media, unless prohibited by law.

9) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and Instagram and each of their parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, its affiliates, and all of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any claim or liability for any bodily injury, loss, cost or damages of any kind to persons, including death and property, damages sustained due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the creation of an entry including any and all claims for copyright infringement, invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity or defamation, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or parts thereof, if applicable, or participation in the contest or participation in any contest or related activity.
